The Standard, which likes to label other blogs as sewers is fast becoming a nasty little club of thugs.
Yesterday I highlighted Lynn Prentice (the guy with the girls name) and his wishing that a commenter would suicide.
Today I have been directed to another of his comments where he wants to take out all Climate Change Deniers and have them shot.
….Call it improving the species by trimming the idiots.
Umm I suspect there will be a long list of volunteers for Wishart in this country…
Nice guy. They had the temerity to post about my mental health, at least I admit I have a problem, and I sure as hell don’t go around wishing people would suicide or dreaming of shooting people for having differing ideas to me.

Im staggered that people actually believe these predictions, the actual changes have to measured over a century to show up on a chart.

I’m not surprised, they’re all communists over there, its class war you see. They even tag posts as such. Communists practically invented the idea that the end justifies the means. Confirms my suspicion that environmentalism is a cover for introducing socialism by stealth.

I dont think so. They have been at the bottom for a long time.
Lynn Prentice criticizes you for depression. His problems are much deeper than that.
Unfortunately Lynn Prentice is not an uncommon example of the Labour staffer / Union Official mindset that is dragging this country down.

From my time of trying to talk sense to those at the Standard, I learned they’ve got no claim to moral superiority. Lynn in particular would resort to abuse at the drop of a hat for daring to disagree with him.

Sheesh – the Standard is in damage control mode today. I’ve just copped a six-month ban for describing “Eddie” as a Labour Party staffer.
I only mentioned the connection, because Eddie had labelled the current government as corrupt, which I thought was a bit rich coming from someone with his/her pedigree. I use the term “his/her”, because I understand that there is not one single Eddie, but that more than one person using that handle, not just the party activist Jenny Michie. I guess that, and their over-reaction suggests that free speech is not the domain of the Left.
Oh yes, and none of the crowd there seems to have a problem with Hone Harawira talking about “white motherf**kers” – says it all really

I agree with no leftie,I think that most of the regulars who post at the sub standard (all 10 of them)would like to shoot/kill all persons of a non left persusion.They oviously dont say this but its an impression im left with.They think that anyone with an IQ below 120 shouldnt be posting,whereas i would say that a good lot of labour/union supporters would be in this group.Im not saying they are thick but surely they are the people that the standard should represent,or maybe/proberly only national voters are thick in the eyes of Lynn and his mates.

Cam I agree we should shoot the Climate Change Deniers. Except my view is, that the CCD’s are those in denial of the fact that the climate has always changed, and there is next to nothing we can do about it. Certainly nothing we do around CO2 emissions will help, as these have been emphatically proven not to affect climate change but are in fact a product of climate change.

I have to say that while I am banned forever for taking the mickey out of Lynn(and his precious global warming) once too often, the Standard remains a guilty pleasure of mine.
The blind devotion to socialism – hatred of capitalism and refusal to accept any new ideas can really brighten an otherwise dull day.
