This jetski boogies…we have just returned from a round Mokoia Island trip with the majority of it travelling at over 100km/h….that is scary fast at that 10mm above the water.

I have really been thinking hard about those powernaps.

When I was at Rotorua Bunnings I saw they had “Power Gardens” for sale, are these related to “powernaps”.

I also thought about those “safe” drivers that use “powernaps”. Do they use “powernaps” as they drive and is it safer to use them in conjunction with cruise control.

Could comeone at LTSA or Transit please explain.

The Herald has some political quotes of the year.

The best ones IMHO are;
“An orchestrated litany of Thais,“
National MP Maurice Williamson’s observation on embattled Labour MP Taito Phillip Field’s cover story for hiring Thais to work on his home in Samoa.

“We won’t pay the money back.”
Labour Minister Pete Hodgson, gets a bit ahead of the Government’s script by ruling out any repayment of Parliamentary Services funding for election campaign material.

When you look at it from the outside, it’s either incompetence or political bias.”
Don Brash attacks the police for not prosecuting Labour over breaches of election spending laws.

Of course they have forgotten the memorable quote from the Prime Minister in parliament. “Labour played by the rules”

The Auckland City Council are a bunch of wastrels.

They spent over $160,000 on overseas travel. Hubbard and Hucker easily outstripping all the others with $43,163 and more $30,000 respectively.

Figures show that they continue to blow hundreds of thousands on travel. Other councils are not so free and easy with their rate payers funds.

  • Auckland Regional Council spent $16,200
  • North Shore City $25,000
  • Waitakere City $39,412

Time for Dick and Co to take a hike.

Fran O’Sullivan once again calls Labour to account for its lack of integrity.

The majority of the article is talking about Andrew Little and his stand against Labour’s troubles.

She as usual saves the best lines till last.

Yep,  she is right, no integrity, no moral valour, scum in other words.

Now people have had a chance to read Nicky Hagers book we will now see the pressure come onto the government to fess up.

Matthew Hooten points out that Labour must surely be complicit in this case as they have known about a large number of the details of the emails.

This could well be New Zealand’s own Watergate and the evidence will point point increasingly to the top levels of our government.

Gooner over at Sir Humphrey’s has a very good analysis on the Hollowmen by Nicky 9isn’t that a girls name) Hager.

Unfortunately it is a little astray mainly because of Don Brash’s inability to ever deal with anything electronically.

Nevertheless, i agree with Gooner that National has been the victim of a criminal conspiracy of unprecedented proportions that surely must involve the highest levels of our government in what can only be described as a “Watergate” like scandal.

My sources reliably inform me that there was no hack of any National Party servers or in fact Parliamentary Services servers. My own investigation and reading of the Hollowmen also shows an unprecedented level of political spying and subterfuge on the part of National’s opponents.

The source/s of the leak is/are nothing more than a petty thief that played on the idiosyncrasies of a person not comfortable with email.

Don Brash, I am told would tie up the office printer for hours at a time printing off his emails so they could be filed in hard copy. He would also read each email once printed out. He often didn’t read them at all on the screen.

Now that shows that DB was a fool for printing them out, but that also National is actually the victim of a “Watergate” scandal where criminal elements are rummaging in the offices of key people. That means that people had access granted to those offices and took out large quantities of paper. This also means that it is extremely likely that this criminal conspiracy goes alot higher than most of us would imagine.

I’m with Gooner on wanting an investigation, but am uncertain whether involving the SIS would be helpful as I am more than a little sure they were involved in this.

If there is anyone out there willing to fund and investigation i am pretty certain that using some sophisticated software and link analysis I could identify the leaker based on the book and also staff rosters and details.

To the cowardly skulking cops hiding in the bushes today trying to ping speeding drivers, you would have missed out due to the fucking wanker in a campervan with 75 cars behind him as he traveled along at 65km/h and the wanker towing a caravan at the same fricken speed.

Where is a coward cop when you need them?

On my quick drive to Auckland I saw several safety signs that said in rather large and distracting letters inane things like

Safe Drivers use Powernaps”

As I consider myself a safe driver i thought to my self…shit I better get one of those.

I went to Warehouse and they don’t have any, nor do any of the major petrol stations. So it begs the questions;

  • What are powernaps?
  • Where do you get them from?
  • What do they do?
  • Are they related to party drugs?
  • Will the government them as well?

There were further stupid signs planted out there by Transit with equally dumb statistics like…25% of accidents involve trucks, WTF is that supposed to mean?…it is safer to drive trucks!!
And then there is the 25% of accidents happen at night….WTF is that…again is it better to travel at night…it seems so according to statistics.

So one must assume from Transits signs that you are better to drive at night in a truck using something obscurely called a powernap!!!! Fucking wallies wasting our tax dollars on inanities like this.
And while we are on stupid waste of money signs, why did the egg farmer tell me to fuck off when I asked him for a dozen of those “free” range eggs.

Helen Clark for her hypocritical call for us all to combat extremism and intolerance when the fricken bitch is one of the worst offenders of both.

Need I remind you of three words that prove her own intolerance.

Exclusive Brethren” and “cancerous”

Yet another example of Labour and their penchant to get other to do what they themselves are either unwilling or unable to themselves.
